Over the years of its existence, the company initiated several innovations and introduced original methods for marketing the panels, among other things when it began to provide services for cutting laminates panels to the final dimensions required for carpentry, thereby contributing to improving the level of Formica-coated furniture, and also making the carpenter's work easier.

The highlight of the company's activity was the import from abroad of high-quality and designed Formica, which was lacking in Israel at the time: the company "Averbuch Formica Center Ltd" was the first in Israel to import special and decorative models of Formica panels from Europe, as a complement to the product line made in Israel.

For this purpose, the late Mordechai Averbuch went to Europe and made the initial contact with the world's leading laminates manufacturers, who were pioneers in the manufacture of laminates panels for the first time in the world. At the same time, the company concluded import and marketing agreements with several leading Formica manufacturers such as the ARPA company from Italy and the American WILSONART INTERNATIONAL company, whose products today decorate thousands of homes, halls, furniture and projects throughout Israel. In 1994, "Averbuch Formica Center Ltd" was issued on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. This step catapulted her to the top of the trade and industry of raw materials for the wood and furniture industry. In this year, the company moved to the industrial area of ​​Ramla, where it spread over one geographical area of ​​tens of thousands of square meters of warehouses, offices and a logistics center.

Today, Averbuch Formica Center Ltd. is an importer, marketer and manufacturer of many raw materials for the furniture, interior design and construction industries, starting with MDF or chipboard and plywood of all types - exposed or covered with paper, melamine, veneer or laminates - and ending with solid wood of all types The types for building and furniture, including special exotic woods, different types of parquets and veneers.The company also has a line for gluing coatings, which provides its customers with chipboards and MDF or laminates coated with Formica, paper and veneer.
